Had wings. They were good. They had an in-house pool league that evening. So, seating away from the loud speakers was limited. The dance floor is nice, it's a bit dark, tho. They've got country line dancing available other nights. Plenty of parking.
As for our waitress.... HORRIBLE! I don't remember her name, but she's been there for a while. Doesn't know how to multi-task. Had to go to the bar to get drinks multiple times. One from our party thought she was on something. The owner was very friendly. Doing his best, multitasking, and wearing many hats. He has great plans for his place.
"Bar Rescue" could do great things to a place like this.
Great spot at the South Carolina/North Carolina line on Hwy 17. 1st time here with friends. Great entertainment. Cold drinks & good food. Reasonable prices. We enjoyed pizza. Another at our table had a salad which looked very good. Another had Philly cheese steak sandwich which came with a lot of French fries. The other with onion rings. Smelled wonderful. Large well stocked bar. Several big screen tvs. Pool tables & game area. Will definitely be back.
Great place, friendly staff and people. I feel safe as a woman going alone for some line dance lessons. And they have great entertainment on weekends! My favorite local hangout!

Great spot with friendly bartenders, great drinks, and legit food. Definitely worth a visit (you'll be coming back too).

So we went there when it was under the previous ownership and name and I got food poisoning so we had not been back since. Knowing that it was under new ownership and having heard good things we went back and were pleasantly surprised. The new owners have revamped and remodeled and the changes are definitely for the better. This is now a very nice, clean establishment with a good clientele and very good food and reasonable prices. The owner, Mike, and his wife are very friendly and engaging and we look forward to visiting again often as they have live music on the weekends. If you have not been here since it’s become The Dirty Armadillo I highly suggest that you give it a shot and I do not think you will be disappointed.
We're truckers who've been on the road for 3 months.. we swung in because we were doing for some good food & the parking lot was big enough to park (with it being so early).
Glad we did! Great service!! Great food.. my favorites were the fresh fries & sweet tea!! My husband loved the fries & meatballs!! EVERYTHING was so good y'all!!
We didn't save room for dessert but the chef brought us out some of their fried ice cream...WHHAAAATT!!! It was so good, we were disappointed we didn't save room..lol
This place has a good environment & we really wish we could've stayed to hear the band, have a few, and relax... but we were ready to be home with our family!
This place is definitely a vibe!! Love it!! Hopefully we'll get to come back some time!
